Panera Bakery in Yorktown Heights will donate a portion of its proceeds to a family whose home was destroyed in a Dec. 12. fire.
The store will give 5 percent of its net sales to the the family of Bill Lambert and Michelle Bonamassa-Lambert, whose Beaver Drive home burned down Dec. 12.
The Lamberts, who have two children, lost nearly all their belongings and have relocated to a home they are renting nearby in town. The community has rallied to their cause, particularly since the fire occurred just before Christmas.
Panera is in the Triangle Shopping Center, near the intersection of routes 202 and 118 and Commerce Street in Yorktown Heights. For more information, call 914-962-5900.
