The seniors at Temple Israel of Northern Westchester in Croton got a note of thanks for helping out with a food drive. A certificate of appreciation was given to the group by the Westchester Jewish Community Services. The seniors, who take part in a current-event discussion group, collect money and buy groceries for people in need. The pantry is run by the WJCS Family Mental Health Clinic in Harstdale. The food is distributed to clinic clients who are having trouble making ends meet.
