Check out today’s edition of the Yorktown Express about Franciscan Sister Natalina Muffato turning 100 today.
Muffato became a nun in 1939 and within months was sent to serve in Peekskill. She is now retired but spends her days keeping busy at the Franciscan Sisters South Street headquarters, tending to flowers and sewing aprons.
Her centennial birthday happens to fall on Ascension Thursday. Read more about the story here.
