Yorktown police released information on the arrests listed below:
Police headquarters: A 13-year-old Shrub Oak boy was charged June 29 around 10:30 a.m. with juvenile delinquency with the underlying charge, if committed by an adult, of forcible touching, a misdemeanor. The arrest stems from a June 24 complaint at Copper Beech Middle School that the defendant on several occasions between May and June 2010 grabbed a female student’s breasts and buttocks. The boy, who surrendered voluntarily, was referred to Westchester County Family Court.
Jefferson Valley Mall: Janelle Campbell, 37, of Carpenter Avenue, the Bronx, was charged Saturday around 6:15 p.m. with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, after she took $80 worth of items from the Sears department store and left the store without paying for them, town police said. Officer Lawrence Paniccia made the arrest.
Police headquarters: David P. Michaud, 46, of Saw Mill River Road, Yorktown, was charged July 7 around 1 p.m. with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, after he visited a residence in violation of a court order. He is due in Town Court on Aug. 3.
Underhill Avenue: Stanley L. Grover, 68, of Olcott Avenue, Croton, was charged July 6 around 5:30 p.m. with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and disobeying a traffic-control device, a violation, after he was in an accident. Officer Ryan Noone made the arrest. Grover is due in Town Court on Aug. 5.
Route 6N: John P. Tumminello, 31, of Wood Street, Mahopac, was charged July 6 around 1 p.m. with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and speeding, an infraction, after he was stopped for doing 60 mph in a 30 zone. He is due in Town Court on Aug. 5.
Lexington Avenue: Alex C. Erickson, 19, of Frost Road, Shrub Oak, and John E. Galea, 19, of Clover Road, Mohegan Lake, were charged July 5 around 11:35 p.m. with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Officer Mark Rapisarda made the arrest after approaching a parked car and finding the two defendants in possession of painkillers for which they lacked a prescription. They are due in Town Court on Aug. 5.
Police headquarters: Thomas D. Plant, 21, of Pine Brook Court, Yorktown, was charged July 6 around 2:30 a.m. with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor. The arrest stems from a July 3 complaint on Hedwig Drive that Plant hit another person in the face. Officer Angel Garcia made the arrest. Plant is due in Town Court on July 22.
Route 6: Kelly Howard 45, of Lexington Avenue, Mohegan Lake, was charged July 3 around 12:45 a.m. with driving while intoxicated and with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08 percent, misdemeanors, speeding and unsafe lane change, infractions, after she was stopped at a DWI checkpoint. She is due in Town Court on Aug. 3.
Police headquarters: Pedro Valez, 49, of Larkspur Drive, Yorktown, was charged June 27 with third-degree assault after he twice struck a woman in the face. Officer Paul Grieve made the arrest. Valez was initially held on $5,000 bail.
Rustic Ridge Court: Nicholas Vitucci, 19, and Louis Vitucci, 21, both of Rustic Ridge Court, were each charged July 2 around 6:30 p.m. with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, after they violated a court order issued in favor of a family member. A statement from police did not indicate the relationship between the two men, who are due in Town Court on July 20.
Crompond Road: Sylvester M. Salzano, 19, of Fanny Circle, Somers, was charged June 30 around 8:20 a.m. with criminal possession of a forged instrument, a misdemeanor, unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to keep right, violations. He was found in possession of a stolen New York state driver’s license and marijuana during a traffic stop by Officer Ryan Noone. A 20-year-old Yorktown man who was a passenger in the car was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Police headquarters: David A. Rocco, 53, of Wharton Drive, Yorktown, was charged July 6 around 6 p.m. with attempted third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, after he threw a woman to the ground and kicked her during a domestic dispute July 5 on Wharton Drive. Rocco surrendered voluntarily the next day.
