I wrote the County Executive’s office numerous times and his Chief of Staff regarding this issue. There are numerous affordable units in Yonkers, New Rochelle and Mt.Vernon which are either being forclosed on or the owners can’t unload them. Mr. Astorino has yet responded to how he build more affordable housing when there are a ton which are empty. I wrote in Jan and 2 months ago with no intelligent answer from his office.
