Peekskill Board of Education incumbents Douglas Glickert and Joseph Urbanowicz are running unopposed in the May 17 school elections.
Also on that day, voters will decide on a proposed $72, 013,090 school budget for 2011-2012 that represents a 1.46 percent increase from this year’s budget and a 3 percent tax levy increase. The Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the budget at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the District Administration Building, 1031 Elm St.
The vote is from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., May 17 at Peekskill High School, 1072 Elm St.
