About 50 student-musicians at Hendrick Hudson High School put on a concert to raise funds for Japanese earthquake relief.
“I did it the way I know how: music,” said Jennifer Morris, the show’s producer. “People auditioned, and we had a concert.”
The show raised $500, and organizers hope it will be sent to a school near the nuclear plant in Fukushima. Organizers have been corresponding with the Haramachi High School, and they hope to arrange the transfer of funds soon.
