The following events aim to raise funds to support the Yorktown High School music programs.
The YHS Music Boosters 5th Annual Tag Sale, which raised $3,000 last year, will take place Saturday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This helps offset costs of festival participation fees, musical collaborations, and social events.
Participants can help by:
• Donating: What a great reason to clean out your attic and garage! We are accepting gently used items to sell at our Tag Sale (clothing, kitchen items, toys, electronics, DVDs, books, etc.)
• Please DO NOT bring baby items, exercise machines or pillows. In addition, we also need wire hangers and the use of portable coat/clothing racks (please label these so that we can return them to you!). DONATION DROP OFF: Friday, October 21 from 2-7 p.m. YHS Cafeteria.

The YHS Music Boosters Citrus Sale runs from Wednesday, Oct. 5, through Tuesday, Nov. 1. Each year, the YHS Bands and Orchestras participate in regional music festivals. The money raised from this sale will help pay for our students participation in these musical activities. Part of the proceeds will also be used to provide end of year awards, social events, and help purchase other items that benefit our entire program.
