Wine, cheese and other light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to Josie Andaloro, Director of Recreation, at 914-737-2255. Ext. 5467.
The art work will be on display in The Seabury’s Great Room from Nov. 18-28.
The Seabury’s Recreation Department offers an ongoing art class for residents, led by Reinauer, a local artist who instructs them in drawing, colored pencils, oil pastels and watercolor. The residents are engaged in a creative expression that provides a therapeutic process, builds self-esteem and memory recall. The program operates on the premise that each individual uses color, line and shape in a manner closely linked to his or her unique self. The creative process stimulates the temporal lobe of the brain and also induces the use of motor skills.
The Seabury at Field home is at 2276 Catherine St., in Cortlandt Manor. Call 914-737-2255 or go online at fieldhome.com.
