Eagle watching in Peekskill

A reminder:

Nature-lovers and families with youngsters will be in for some good times when the Eagle Fest comes to Peekskill on Saturday.
Bird experts and conservationists will talk about the remarkable recovery of the bald eagle in the Hudson Valley, and a viewing station will be set up to catch sight of the big raptors.
The event, sponsored by Entergy and the city of Peekskill, will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the the Riverfront Green off Hudson Avenue.

Storyteller Jonathan Kruk will be performing in the heated tent between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
A birds of prey flying demonstrations with Brian Bradley will run between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The event is free.
