Rotary honors Ossining school employee

News from the Ossining school district on employee who received Rotary award:

Willliam Dalton, maintenance department supervisor for Ossining schools, was named Employee of the Year by the Rotary Club of Ossining.

Dalton oversees all daily work at the district’s six schools – The Park Early Childhood Center, Brookside School, Claremont School, Anne M. Dorner Middle School and Ossining High School. In his nomination, Kenneth Waldron, Ossining’s Director of Building and Grounds, said “Mr. Dalton is extremely dedicated to the students and staff of the Ossining School District. He takes his position as Maintenance Supervisor very seriously and considers the safety of our students and staff his top priority.”

Waldron specifically cited Dalton’s work in establishing an electronic system for maintenance orders, and the pride he takes in his work and the work of his team. Dalton received his award at a Rotary meeting Monday, November 5th.
