With Hanukkah almost over and Christmas just days away, Purdys-based Friends of Karen still needs 75 big-hearted “elves” to make
sure that each of the charity’s sick children has holiday gifts
This time of year, the organization’s “Adopt-A-Family” Holiday Gifts for Kids program provides gifts for each Friends of Karen sick child as well as his or her siblings. Many of the children are in the hospital or home-bound because of their life-threatening illness.
