The recent blood drive at Briarcliff High School was a success:
Briarcliff High School students participated in a recent blood drive to provide New York Blood Services with 79 units of blood. NYBS is one of four regional organizations that benefit the New York Blood Center, which replenishes diminishing local blood blanks throughout the state. School nurse Karen Gitelson and National Honor Society co-presidents Rachel Smedley and Sam Cohen organized the BHS blood drive, with the NHS creating posters and other messages to advertise the event to their fellow classmates and teachers.
