Based on a story by Willson and Franklin Lacey and the Tony-award-winning Broadway musical, “The Music Man” tells the story of con man Harold Hill, who poses as a band organizer and leader to sell instruments and uniforms to naive townsfolk before prim librarian and piano teacher Marian Paroo catches on to him. The story takes a turn when Harold helps Marian’s younger brother overcome his fear of social interaction, causing Marian to see the good in him, and eventually fall for him. Dan Levine stars as Harold while Rebecca Simpson Wallack plays the role of Marian.
