News from Ossining Public Library on three open trustee seats:
The Ossining Public Library Board of Trustees has scheduled its Budget Vote and Trustee Election to be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Ossining High School Gymnasium.
This year three seats become available on the Board of Trustees. The term for these three seats begins on July 1, 2013 and expires on June 30, 2016.
Petition packets for Board of Trustee candidates are now available. Interested candidates may obtain a petition packet from the Director of the Library, Business Office, 53 Croton Avenue, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and on Wednesday between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The last day for filing petitions with the School District Clerk is 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2013.
