Here’s a workshop coming up for young writers….
More than 200 of the region’s most promising high school writers will descend on Westchester Community College’s campus next week for the 26th Annual Young Authors’ Conference sponsored by Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES.
The conference, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, brings together published authors and aspiring writers for a day of workshops on such topics as “Think Like a Screenwriter,” “Breaking Bad: Writing Well While Breaking Writing Conventions,” “Character in Action: Let Your Characters Speak for Themselves,” and “Just Shoot, Stab, Strangle, Smother or Poison Me: Writing the Murder Mystery.”
