The Croton-on-Hudson Board of Trustees plans to kick off the environmental review of the project to improve traffic and make things easier for cyclists and pedestrians on the way to the Croton-Harmon train station.
But some residents oppose the work. They say the price tag, set by the village at $2.8 million, is too high.
At tonight’s meeting, the board will vote on whether to place itself in charge of the state-mandated review.
Opponents operate a Facebook page found here.
